Vashon True Value Est. 1977
History:
In October 1977 long time islanders Al and Laura Snyder opened
Vashon True Value. The original store encompassed about 4,000
square feet of the space within the current building. Over the
years additions and remodels have increased the size of the
store to the current space of approximately 10,000 square feet.
The True Value Service Center was purchased in 1996 and it adds
another 4,000 square feet of Outdoor Power Equipment and Rental
items.
In October of 2001 Doug Snyder and John Yates purchased the
business from AI and Laura.
